Free to choose: a personal statement by Milton Friedman and Rose Friedman

The husband-wife pair of economists has written an excellent book making the case for individual freedom and free markets by looking at a variety of situations including school choice. A 10-part PBS series featuring Milton Friedman was made in 1980 around the time of the book’s release, and it covered the major themes and ideas of the book. An updated 5-part series was released in 1990. Both video series can be viewed at The Idea Channel.
